Inspections

 

The Home is Inspected throughout the year by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the Fire Service, Departments for Environmental Health & Health and Safety.

 

 

We aim to comply with all requirements and recommendations that are given.

 

 

Staffing

 

All care staff receive ongoing training essential to the service development.

 

Staff are trained in various aspects of care provision for elderly people.

 

They are encouraged to develop their potential through regular training opportunities.

 

All staff undergo induction and foundation training, staff are also encouraged to gain certificates in:-

  • Emergency First Aid
  • Food Hygiene
  • Manual Handling
  • Health & Safety
  • Medication Administration
  • Infection Control

 

Staff also receive regular site training relating to Fire Regulations, emergency evacuation and Fire procedures. 

 

All Care Staff undergo an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check before employment commences.
